This weekend at Fernwood we spent much of our time wandering the woods and trails on snowshoes. Our dear friends, Rick and Kari came from Virginia to visit and enjoy some winter weather. Kingdom Bog was especially beautiful. Here are some photos of our winter treks.

2/23 Oh for the good old days when your grandmother followed you snowshoers (sans snow shoes on her) and studied all the “animal ” tracks along the way.
Yes, I do remember how adept you became at identifying our ski pole imprints….ha ha. Well, it was great that you were out there and having fun!
This enjoy this snowshoe shot is just as much as your recent one–there is no sun in this one, but the falling snow more than makes up for it’s absence. 🙂
