We will be opening for the season here at Fernwood Nursery on Saturday, May 9th. Come see us! After a long winter, we are happy to see some of our favorite woodland plants blooming in the gardens. Just what we’ve been waiting for!

  3. The H. thibetanus that I bought from you a few years ago is blooming now and it is wonderful!
    The Hepaticas still aren’t blooming yet, so you are a little ahead of us!

    • Hi Amy, Great to hear! Slowly the woodland plants are appearing and blooming. We are a bit soggy over here at the moment, many of the beds are too wet to get into. We need a solid week of warm temps and a slight breeze to dry things out. Our season opens soon…….we’ll just have to be ready!
