The drying seed heads of the poppies needed a little ” perking up’. It’s hard not to want to yank them from the garden as they begin to brown, they look rather scraggly. These smiling face help……..too much weeding in the hot sun I guess, I just couldn’t help myself!

Those are so cute!! Great whimsy to perk up the dog days of August!
No chance of too much time on my hands….must be the heat and my poor ol’ brain is behaving in a wacky
( whimsical) fashion! They are kinda cute though, aren’t they!
These are too much — Jenny and I both laughed.
The image would make a great note card (you know, something to do in your copious other spare time….).
Thanks Betsy, you can’t take things too seriously at the farm……always a bit of time for silliness and whimsy! You are right, these would make a cute card! I’ll think about that.
You made my gardening day by starting it with a smile. Love these happy little poppies. Have a great Maine weekend. 🙂
You have a lovely weekend as well, Judy…looks like fine weather. The poppies just add a bit of silliness to our days, glad it added a smile to your as well!
Terrific.
Too much fun! I’m going to steal this idea!
Go on, do it! Sneak out into your garden while still wearing pajamas and draw silly faces on the drying seed heads of all your poppies!
you put a smile on for all who sees them.
what fun
Hi Molly, One can never be too serious in life…..and smiles are always good for the soul!
Put a well needed smile on my face, at this late hour. Thank you.
Glad it put a smile on your face, Those drying poppy heads just begged for a little ‘touch up’……of course there are about 100 poppies in the garden, sad to say only a certain number have smiling faces at this point! Thanks for reading, kristine!
Cute!
